Solar Powered Wireless Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
This tire pressure monitoring system, or TPMS is a great little device. I think this has been the quickest and easiest installation I have ever had. Each of the sensors are labeled so you do not have to do any programming. FL – drivers side front tire; FR – passenger side front tire; RL – drivers side rear tire; RR – passenger side front tire. To install the sensors just remove the cap from the air valve and screw on the appropriate sensor. Once all are on the receiver unit press the set button, wait for a minute you will then have a reading of all of your tires.
Why this is important is because, like AAA says, properly inflated tires will increase the life of the tire and give you better gas mileage. Now if you have a blow out, you might even recognize it before monitor could report. But if you have a slow leak, the monitor will be able to alert you and give you time to fill up or get a patch. This makes it easy for anyone to be able to monitor, and not have to guess.
