Lightbird Indoor Hammock/Camping Hammock

September 20, 2016

Hubby and I always thought a hammock would be fun to have, especially to relax on the porch. We were happy to come across this one. We haven’t been able to put it on our porch yet, since they are in the process of redoing it. We did take it to a park and set it up between a couple of trees to try it out. Sometimes, you worry; will it support you, and stay in place? We can answer yes, to these questions. We learned some things too. We learned that you need to put it up higher around the tree, so when it sags down, your butt doesn’t end up on the ground- lol. It was funny, and all we could do is laugh. We got the free indoor kit, and will use that to attach it to the porch, so it will hang better from the ceiling. The stitching is well done, and secure. The nylon for the hammock is made from aerospace parachutes, so that makes me feel more comfortable. It is portable and lightweight, comes with a travel pouch that is attached to the hammock, itself, so you never lose it. The first time setting it up does take a little bit of time, so you know what you are doing, but goes quicker once you know what you are doing. Can’t wait to attach it to the porch and just relax on it. I will update those pictures, once its done.
