I was really impressed when we got this in the mail. It looks and feels like it was handmade and not something that was bought from a big box retailer. This blanket is well made, the crochet stitching is awesome. It is well made. Feels nice and soft, and is absolutely adorable. We bought this for our niece. She will be able snuggle to read and watch television. This comes ready to give as a gift, comes in a pink cinch sack bag, and also comes with a Mermaid Necklace. The plastic bag that all this came in was sealed with the air taken out. There was a valve that we had to open and it let the air in and the bag came to life. Interesting. The blanket is nice and long, 71 inches, so it will accommodate long legs easily, and the mermaid tail is really adorable. Will work well for kids and adults. They recommend hand washing in cold water before using it for the first time, and for best results to hand wash it on a regular basis.
